Hotel & Hospitality Security in Dublin & Ireland

Guests should feel welcome and safe without feeling watched. Hotel security is about calm, well-presented officers who notice problems early and handle them quietly.

Security for Hospitality & Hotels

A hotel is open to the public all day and all night, which is what makes it difficult to secure. At night, a small team is responsible for a large building, and a night porter or duty manager can find themselves dealing alone with an intruder on a bedroom corridor, an aggressive guest or a disturbance in the lobby.

A night security officer gives that team support. They patrol corridors, stairwells, car parks and back-of-house areas, check that fire exits and delivery doors are closed, make sure the people in the building are guests, and step in when a situation needs a firm but polite presence. They are also an extra trained person on site if there is a fire alarm or a medical emergency.

For hotels, restaurants and other venues we also provide CCTV for public and back-of-house areas, and key holding and alarm response for premises that close overnight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will security officers put guests off?
They should not. Officers are well presented and courteous, and their role is to be helpful and observant. Most guests find a visible member of staff at night reassuring.
Do you provide door staff for bars and nightclubs?
Door supervision of licensed premises is a separate licence category with the PSA. Ask us about your venue and we will tell you what we can provide.
Can officers cover weekends only?
Yes. Many hotels use night security on their busiest nights or when functions are being held.
Can you also clean our public areas?
Yes. We provide contract cleaning for lobbies, corridors, function rooms and other public areas.
