Security Guards in Dublin

Licensed security officers for premises across Dublin city and county, supplied and supervised from our offices in Dublin 2 and Sandyford.

Security Guards Dublin: how we work

When you hire a security guard in Dublin you are usually solving one of a small number of problems: controlling who comes into a building, protecting a site that is open and exposed at night, supporting staff who deal with the public, or covering a gap after a break-in. We supply officers for all of these, for a single night, for a few weeks or as a permanent team.

Every officer we place holds an individual licence from the Private Security Authority, and works to written instructions agreed with you before the first shift: who is allowed in, the patrol route and times, which doors are locked and when, and who to phone in an emergency. Each shift is recorded, and you get the report.

Dublin sites differ a great deal. City centre offices need front-of-house officers who represent your business well. Building sites from the Docklands to Clonburris need gate control by day and cover at night. Warehouses near the M50 and the airport need gatehouse officers who check vehicles and drivers. Shops on busy streets and in shopping centres need officers who deter theft and calm situations down. We match the officer to the job.

Because we are based in Dublin, we can usually visit your site before quoting, and our control room answers at any hour. If you need cover urgently, phone us and we will tell you honestly how quickly we can have an officer with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a security guard cost in Dublin?
Guarding is priced per officer per hour. The legal minimum wage for security officers is €16.15 an hour from 28 September 2026, before employer costs, so the price you pay depends on the hours, the duties and how much notice you give. We quote in writing after seeing the site.
Can you provide a security guard in Dublin tonight?
Often, yes. It depends on the location and the number of officers you need. Phone +353 1 507 9051 and we will tell you what we can do and by when.
Which parts of Dublin do you cover?
All of Dublin city and county: the city centre, north Dublin including Swords and the airport area, south Dublin including Sandyford and Dún Laoghaire, and west Dublin including Tallaght, Citywest and Blanchardstown.
Are your security guards Garda vetted?
Every officer holds a current PSA licence, and Garda vetting is part of the PSA licence application.
Can we have the same officers each week?
We aim to keep the same officers on your site so they get to know your people and routine, with trained relief officers for holidays and sickness.
