CCTV Installation & Monitoring Across Ireland

Camera systems designed around what you actually need to see, with installation, monitoring, maintenance and help with your data protection duties.

Cameras that show what you need to see

A CCTV system fails in one of two ways: it does not cover the place where the incident happened, or the picture is too poor to show who did it. We start by asking what you need the cameras for, whether that is identifying people at an entrance, reading number plates at a gate, watching a yard at night or keeping an eye on a till, and design the system backwards from there.

We then install the cameras, recorder and cabling, set up viewing on your phone or computer, and show your staff how to find and export footage. Afterwards we maintain the system, because a camera with a dirty lens or a recorder with a failed hard drive is only discovered when you need the footage.

Cameras can also be monitored. When a camera detects movement out of hours, an operator in our control room looks at the images, and if somebody is on your site they can send a patrol officer and call the Gardaí. For many yards and sites this gives overnight protection for much less than a guard.

CCTV records personal data, so the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. We help you get the basics right from the start: signs at the entrances, cameras pointed only where you have a reason to record, and a sensible retention period.

What you get

Footage you can use

Cameras are chosen and positioned for a purpose, so the picture shows the detail you need, in daylight and at night.

View it from anywhere

Check live and recorded footage securely from your phone, tablet or computer.

Somebody watching when you are not

With monitoring, activations out of hours are looked at by an operator who can send help.

Set up with GDPR in mind

Clear signs, considered camera positions and a retention period you can justify.

Kept working

Planned maintenance visits and repairs, so faults are found before an incident, not after.

One provider

The same company can supply your cameras, your patrols and your alarm response, so nothing falls between suppliers.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Site survey

We agree what each camera is for and where it can be mounted.

  2. Step 2

    Design and quote

A written proposal listing the cameras, recorder and price.

  3. Step 3

    Installation

Fitted with tidy cabling and as little disruption as possible.

  4. Step 4

    Handover

We show your staff how to view, search and export footage.

  5. Step 5

    Maintenance

Regular checks, cleaning and repairs, with monitoring if required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you design the CCTV system as well as install it?
Yes. We survey the premises, agree what each camera needs to show and design the system around that before anything is fitted.
How long can I keep CCTV footage?
The law does not set a fixed period, but you must be able to justify the one you choose. The Data Protection Commission says that for a normal security system it would be difficult to justify keeping footage for longer than one month. Footage of a specific incident can be kept longer while it is being dealt with.
Do I need to put up CCTV signs?
Yes. People must be told they are being recorded. The Data Protection Commission expects easily read signs in prominent positions, normally at each entrance, saying why the cameras are there and who operates them, with contact details.
Can I use CCTV to monitor my staff?
Only with great care. Staff must be told that cameras are in use, where and why. Footage gathered for security should not normally be used to check attendance or performance, and cameras should not cover areas such as toilets, changing rooms or canteens.
Can my cameras be monitored around the clock?
Yes. Our control room can monitor your cameras 24 hours a day or only when the premises is closed, and can send a patrol officer or call the Gardaí when somebody is on site.
Can I view my cameras on my phone?
Yes. We set up secure remote viewing so that you can see live and recorded footage from your phone, tablet or computer.
Do you maintain systems you did not install?
Ask us. We will look at the existing system first and tell you honestly whether it is worth maintaining, upgrading or replacing.
