Warehouse & Logistics Security in Dublin

Gatehouse officers, night guards, patrols and monitored cameras for warehouses, distribution centres and yards around the M50, the airport and Dublin Port.

Warehouse Security Dublin: how we work

Dublin's warehouses and distribution centres are concentrated around the M50 and the routes to the airport and the port: Ballycoolin and Blanchardstown, Ballymount and Park West, Citywest and Grange Castle, Santry, Swords and the estates off the M1. Many run around the clock, with trailers arriving and leaving at all hours, while smaller units close in the evening and sit empty overnight.

At a busy site the gate is where losses are prevented. Our gatehouse officers record every vehicle, driver and haulier in and out, check drivers against bookings, verify paperwork and seal numbers where you require it, and make sure nothing leaves the yard without being accounted for. Away from the gate, officers patrol the perimeter, the trailer park and the loading bays.

At night and at weekends, the right cover depends on what is in the yard. Where loaded trailers or high-value stock are left overnight, a guard on site is usually the safer choice, supported by monitored CCTV across the yard. For smaller units that close in the evening, mobile patrols at varied times, with key holding and alarm response behind them, are usually enough.

We work to written instructions agreed with your site or operations manager, and give you a record of every shift and patrol so you can see exactly what was checked.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Dublin warehouse areas do you cover?
All of Dublin, including Ballycoolin, Blanchardstown, Ballymount, Park West, Citywest, Grange Castle, Santry, Swords and the estates around Dublin Airport and Dublin Port.
Can you staff a gatehouse 24 hours a day?
Yes. We can provide gatehouse officers on day, night and weekend shifts, or around the clock, working to instructions agreed with you.
What does a gatehouse officer record?
Typically the vehicle registration, haulier, driver, time in and out and the reason for the visit, plus paperwork and seal numbers where you require them.
Is CCTV enough instead of a night guard?
Sometimes. Monitored cameras with a patrol response suit many yards. Where loaded trailers or high-value stock are left overnight, we usually recommend a guard on site.
